Vanilla Rose Martini
The Vanilla Rose Martini is a delicate, floral cocktail that’s both elegant and easy to make. With hints of vanilla and rose, it’s a beautifully balanced drink perfect for special occasions or a relaxing evening in.
- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 1 (5.5 oz)
Ingredients
2 1/2 oz vanilla vodka
1 oz Chambord
1 1/2 – 2 oz club soda
Splash of rose water
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Whole vanilla beans (optional)
Instructions
- Finely chop the edible rose petals. Place on a saucer with the granulated sugar and mix together.
- Rim the edge of your cocktail glass with fresh lemon juice.
- Dip the rim of the cocktail glass in the rose petal sugar mixture, making sure to coat well.
- Pour a splash of rose water into the glass, swirl around, and pour out. You just want to coat the inside of the glass and pour out what’s left over.
- Add ice to the glass and pour in the club soda.
- Place the vanilla vodka and Chambord in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously to combine (about 15-20 seconds).
- Pour mixture into the cocktail glass.
- Garnish with half a vanilla bean (optional).
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- The rose water is potent and somewhat overpowering, so we only used a splash of it.
- If the fresh lemon doesn’t hold the rose petals, try rimming with simple syrup.
- Crushed ice works best.
- For a weaker cocktail, use 2 ounces vanilla vodka and 2 – 2.5 ounces club soda. Keep the Chambord the same because it isn’t as strong as the vodka and gives the drink its color and flavor twist.
