A vibrant, layered, completely alcohol-free mocktail that’s as fun to make as it is to drink.

  • Total Time: 3 minutes

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 oz fresh orange juice
  • oz club soda or lemon-lime soda
  • 1/2 oz grenadine
  • Oange slice and cherry, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  2. Pour in the orange juice and club soda, and stir gently to combine.
  3. Slowly pour the grenadine into the center of the glass — it’s heavier than the juice, so it will sink and create the “sunrise” gradient.
  4. Don’t stir again. Garnish with an orange slice and cherry, and serve right away so the layers stay pretty.

Notes

  1. For a deeper gradient, pour the grenadine even more slowly, straight down the center.
  2. This one is best assembled right before serving — once it’s stirred, the layered look is gone for good.
