Instructions
- Prepare your serving platter. Cover with a sheet of parchment if desired.
- To assemble – have all the individual items prepared.
- On your serving platter, begin with the larger, more statement-piece items first (cupcakes, donut holes, pretzels, etc). Small loose items are also good in bowls to add dimension, keep them contained and are aesthetically pleasing.
- Then place the smaller, secondary items around the larger items (Twizzlers, cookies, etc).
- Finally, use the smaller items to fill in the remaining areas (M&M’s, Sour Patch Kids, etc.)
- If needed, continue to add and/or remove items to fill in voids and adjust the board to your liking.
- Keep in mind to alter the colors so that not all one color dominates one area of the board. The red, white and blues should be consistent across the board.
Notes
- Ingredients can be any variety or combination of items. Substitute accordingly to achieve the red, white and blue theme. The quantity of items will depend on the size of your serving platter.
