This is an easy to make, delicious recipe for a gin and tonic inspired mocktail with elderflowers! The delicate taste of the elderflower syrup pairs wonderfully with the botanicals of gin and create a delightful and refreshing alcohol free aperitif perfect for parties or a relaxing break.

  • Total Time: 2 minutes

Ingredients

Scale

1 part non-alcoholic gin

1 part elderflower cordial

2 parts tonic water (chilled)

1 slice of lemon

Instructions

  1. Pour one part non-alcoholic gin and one part elderflower cordial into a glass or cocktail pitcher.
  2. Stir, then top up with chilled tonic water.
  3. Add a thin slice of lemon, fresh elderflower as decoration, and serve cold.

Notes

  1. You can serve this gin tonic with elderflower mocktail in individual glasses, like a G&T, or you can prepare a pitcher and let people serve themselves.
  2. If you serve it in a pitcher, make sure you use chilled tonic water and do keep an eye that it doesn’t get too warm if left outside for long.
  3. This mocktail tastes best if served cold.
