Ingredients
16 oz. (2 packages) cream cheese, softened
2 cups finely shredded cheddar cheese, divided
2.5 oz package real bacon pieces (6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled can also be used)
1 package ranch seasoning
7 baby carrots for chick’s beak and feet
Sliced olives for chick’s eyes
Round cracker, cut in half, for chick’s wings
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and ranch seasoning until well combined.
- Stir in 1 cup of cheddar cheese and the bacon until evenly distributed.
- Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap and shape it into a ball.
- Roll the cheese ball in the remaining cup of cheddar cheese, pressing gently to help it adhere.
- Place the cheese ball on a serving plate or cutting board for decorating.
- Press two olive slices onto the front to form the chick’s eyes.
- Cut a baby carrot in half and position it as the beak.
- Insert three baby carrots on each side at the bottom to create feet.
- Cut a cracker in half and insert each piece on the sides for wings.
- Serve immediately or chill until ready. Enjoy with crackers, veggies, or your favorite dippers!
