This festive cheeseball is a fun and adorable centerpiece for any Easter gathering! Creamy ranch-seasoned cream cheese mixed with cheddar and bacon is shaped into a chick, then decorated with carrots, olives, and crackers for a playful, edible design.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

16 oz. (2 packages) cream cheese, softened

2 cups finely shredded cheddar cheese, divided

2.5 oz package real bacon pieces (6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled can also be used)

1 package ranch seasoning

7 baby carrots for chick’s beak and feet

Sliced olives for chick’s eyes

Round cracker, cut in half, for chick’s wings

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and ranch seasoning until well combined.
  2. Stir in 1 cup of cheddar cheese and the bacon until evenly distributed.
  3. Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap and shape it into a ball.
  4. Roll the cheese ball in the remaining cup of cheddar cheese, pressing gently to help it adhere.
  5. Place the cheese ball on a serving plate or cutting board for decorating.
  6. Press two olive slices onto the front to form the chick’s eyes.
  7. Cut a baby carrot in half and position it as the beak.
  8. Insert three baby carrots on each side at the bottom to create feet.
  9. Cut a cracker in half and insert each piece on the sides for wings.
  10. Serve immediately or chill until ready. Enjoy with crackers, veggies, or your favorite dippers!
