This festive Christmas Tree Pull-Apart Bread is a fun, cheesy twist on pizza night—layers of melty mozzarella, zesty sauce, and pepperoni baked inside golden, garlicky dough. Perfect for holiday gatherings, it’s easy to make, delicious to share, and guaranteed to disappear fast!

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 6-8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

2 (7.8 oz) cans refrigerated pizza crust

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 1/2 cups pizza sauce

20-25 pepperoni slices

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll both pizza crusts and stack them on top of each other. Cut into a large triangle shape to resemble a Christmas tree, then separate the two layers.
  3. Place one dough triangle on the prepared baking sheet. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the surface, then layer with mozzarella and pepperoni slices.
  4. Place the second sheet of pizza dough on top and press lightly to seal.
  5. Using a sharp knife, cut horizontal slits about 1 1/2 inches apart along both sides of the triangle, leaving the center intact.
  6. Carefully twist each strip a few times to form “branches.”
  7. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning, then brush the mixture generously over the entire tree.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
  • For a festive touch, add sliced olives or bell peppers as “ornaments.”
