Boozy Eggnog

A boozy twist on a traditional Christmas favourite.

Ingredients

6 eggs

1 cup of caster sugar

2 cups low fat milk

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup spiced rum (or substitute)

Garnish (optional) cinnamon stick, dark sugar OR a sprinkle of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs until light and creamy
  2. Fold in the sugar until it’s dissolved
  3. Add in the milk, cream and vanilla
  4. Serve into your favourite handled cups or mugs
  5. Garnish with a sugared rim and cinnamon stick, or lightly grate some nutmeg to finish
