Fresh Blood Orange Margarita With Bold Flavor
Blood orange juice gives this margarita its bold color and bright citrus bite, making every sip feel fresh and fun. The recipe is easy, simple, and delicious, coming together in minutes with just a handful of ingredients. Tequila, lime, and a splash of triple sec balance the natural sweetness of the fruit without overpowering it.
I love how the salt and Tajin rim adds a subtle kick that keeps things interesting. This cocktail works just as well for a relaxed evening as it does for sharing with friends.
If you enjoy drinks that look impressive but stay low effort, this one fits perfectly into your rotation and never feels out of season. It also pairs nicely with snacks, music, and warm conversations year-round, too.

Salt & Tajin Seasoning
Ice
2 oz. Tequila (here I used Anejo)

Instructions
- Use a citrus juicer or by hand, juice the blood orange (this produced approximately 1 oz. of juice).

- Use a little of that juice or a lime wedge to rim your glass.
- Dip the rim of the glass into the salt/Tajin mixture.
- Add ice to your glass.
- Then add in the tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice, and blood orange juice.
- Give everything a little stir and garnish with the dried blood orange slice or lime.
Notes
