Mama’s Favorite Baileys Iced Coffee

A deliciously refreshing treat on a hot day, Mama’s Baileys Iced Coffee recipe is a fun afternoon treat that combines two of my favorite ingredients—Baileys and Coffee!

Ingredients

Scale

2 oz Baileys

1 cup of ice cubes

1 cup of freshly brewed coffee (cooled if possible – or 2 Nespresso capsules with chilled milk)

Whipped cream (optional)

Chocolate syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew coffee and set aside
  2. Add ice cubes to your shaker
  3. Add Baileys and Coffee
  4. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds
  5. Pour into a tall glass (including ice)
  6. Optionally top with whipped cream and chocolate syrup if desired
  7. Best drunk through a wide straw

Notes

  • For a creamier alternative, I suggest the Nespresso machine alternate which is 2 portions of Ristretto (makes approximately 2.8 oz/80 ml) combined with 4 oz (120 ml) chilled low-fat milk.
  • I find that Bailey’s and milk makes this recipe sweet enough, but if you’d prefer you can add one tab or teaspoon of your sweetener of choice.
