Grinch-Themed Charcuterie Board: A Lighter Holiday Option
This Grinch Charcuterie Board is a fun, simple, and surprisingly healthy option for the holidays. Made with a mix of fresh fruits and veggies—like kiwi, banana, cucumber, black grape and strawberry—plus a few playful extras like cheddar cheese and licorice candies, it brings festive flair without the sugar overload.
I like that it’s easy to assemble and feels lighter compared to typical holiday spreads. It’s a great way to balance out all the rich treats while still keeping things colorful and fun.
Perfect for Christmas gatherings, this board also works well for warm-weather celebrations or even a Christmas in July party when you want something fresh and seasonal without turning on the oven.

Grinch Charcuterie Board
- Total Time: 10 minutes
- Yield: 1 platter
Ingredients
1 cucumber
2 kiwis
A piece of cheddar cheese
1 banana
8–10 strawberries
4 licorice candies
1 black grape
Some crackers to serve
Instructions
- Rinse the kiwi in cool water. Remove the hard part and slice it into circles.
- Slice the cucumber in the same way and lay it out on a board in the shape of 2 half circles.
- Lay out the kiwi in an oval in the shape of the Grinch’s face. Cut a circle out of the cheese with a cookie cutter and cut it in half. Shape the cheese into eyes, add licorice pupils and grape nose.
- From the black licorice, lay out arched eyebrows.
- Lay out banana slices in an arc over the cucumbers and then strawberries as the top of the hat. The banana is the “fur” and the strawberries are the “red part”. Add a banana pompon. Add a smile made of sliced licorice candy.
- Add crackers on the sides, serve with mini forks and it’s ready to serve!
