Patriotic Veggie Platter
This Patriotic Veggie Platter is a festive and healthy way to celebrate summer holidays like the 4th of July. Fresh veggies are arranged in a flag design for a fun and eye-catching appetizer.

Ingredients
Cherry tomatoes (we used 7)
Cauliflower (we used 8 small – medium pieces)
1/2–3/4 of a red pepper, sliced into strips
1 cucumber – peeled, then cut in half and quartered
7 radishes, cut in half
1/3 cup sliced olives
1/2 slice pepper jack or other white cheese slice
Instructions
- Wash and cut your veggies.
- Use the cutout tool to cut 5 stars from the cheese.
- Line the tomatoes on the top of the tray, from the right edge, toward the left, until there’s about 2 1/2 – 3 inches left on the left side.
- Arrange the cauliflower under the tomatoes, then the red pepper slices.
- Fill the space on the left, next to the 3 veggies with sliced olives, then arrange the cheese stars on the olives.
- Line the cucumbers in two rows all the way from left to right, then the radishes under those.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
More mouths to feed? Simply scale up the recipe if you’re feeding a bigger crowd or have a larger dish to fill.
If you are aiming for a more distinct blue, you could replace the olives with blueberries.
