1 tub (15.6 oz) of Betty Crocker ready frosting (any flavor that complements your cake)

20 lollipop sticks

Pink or red food coloring (as needed)

Heart-shaped chocolates or icing for decoration

2 tablespoons sprinkles of your choice

  14. Place the dipped cake pops back on the lined baking sheet and let them cool completely at room temperature or in the fridge for about 15-30 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
  15. Once the chocolate is set, decorate with heart-shaped mini chocolates, sprinkles or use icing to write sweet messages on the pops. Get creative and personalize them!

Ingredients

1 cup milk

1 tablespoon white chocolate chips

1 teaspoon sugar

Red food coloring (2-3 drops)

Whipped cream

Red and pink sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it starts to steam. Do not let it boil.
  2. Add the white chocolate chips to the saucepan and stir until they are completely melted and incorporated into the milk.
  3. Stir in the sugar until it dissolves completely.
  4. Add 2-3 drops of red food colouring to the saucepan and stir well to evenly distribute the colour. Add more drops if desired for a deeper red colour.
  5. Continue heating the mixture for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is hot and well combined.
  6. Remove the saucepan from heat and pour the red velvet hot chocolate into mugs.
  7. Top each mug with a dollop of whipped cream.
  8. Sprinkle red and pink sprinkles over the whipped cream for added decoration.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious and festive Red Velvet Hot Chocolate!

I’m always looking for show-stopping sweet treats that don’t require hours in the kitchen, and these Strawberry Cheesecake Brownies combine the irresistible flavors of strawberry cake, cream cheese frosting, and buttery Oreo crumbles into one deliciously easy dessert that looks like it came from a fancy bakery.

I discovered this recipe a couple of years ago when planning my daughter’s birthday party, and it’s become my go-to for everything from classroom treats to dinner party desserts. The best part? It starts with a cake mix (yes, really!), but adding strawberry Jello and a few simple tricks transforms it into something truly special.

Strawberry Cheesecake Brownies layer a sweet strawberry cake base with creamy cheesecake frosting and a crunchy strawberry-Oreo topping—an easy, irresistible treat.

  • Total Time: 1 hour and 10 minutes

Ingredients

1 13-15 oz box of strawberry cake mix

2 eggs

2 tablespoons of Strawberry Jello mix

1/2 cup of unsalted butter (melted)

8 oz block of cream cheese

2 teaspoons of vanilla

1/4 cup of unsalted butter (softened)

1/2 cup of powdered sugar

2 tablespoons of heavy cream

20 Golden Oreos

4 tablespoons of unsalted butter (melted)

4 tablespoons of strawberry jello mix

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper and spray with nonstick cooking spray; set aside. Preheat the oven to 350°. In a large bowl, add the strawberry cake mix, eggs, 2 tablespoons of strawberry jello mix, and 1/2 cup of melted butter and beat using a hand mixer, making sure there are no clumps left.
  2. Scoop the batter into the prepared baking dish, flatten it, and spread it evenly with a rubber spatula or clean hands. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes. You can also dip a toothpick in the middle, and once it’s clean, remove it from the oven. Let it cool completely.
  3. Once the cake is cooled completely slice sideways to make the top even (if your cake comes out completely flat and even on the top ignore this step).
  4. Add the cream cheese, vanilla, and 1/4 cup of butter in a medium-sized bowl and beat with the hand mixer until combined.
  5. Add the powdered sugar and heavy cream and beat once again until it’s a fluffy and smooth mixture. Scoop the frosting onto the cooled cake and spread evenly all around.
  6. In a food processor, add the Oreos and pulse until you get crumbs with bigger chunks of crumbs as well. Add the crumbs to a large zip-lock bag, the 4 tablespoons of melted butter, and the remaining strawberry jello powder. Zip up and shake around until everything is completely coated.
  7. Sprinkle the Oreo mixture all over the top of the frosting and lightly pat it to ensure it sticks in place. Lift out of the baking dish, slice into 16 squares, and serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
  • When shaking the Oreo mixture in the zip lock bag make sure to break apart the clumps.
  • Leave edges of the parchment paper sticking out the sides of the baking dish so you can lift the brownies out the dish easier to slice.
  • Let the cake cool for about 30 minutes, if it still is hot by then let it cool for longer.
