Ingredients
Scale
1 tablespoon honey
Gold sanding sugar
Maraschino cherry
1/2 oz. Triple Sec (or orange liquor)
5 oz champagne, brut/sparkling white
Gold edible sparkle dust
Instructions
- Add a little honey to a small plate and dip the champagne flute into the honey.
- In a separate small dish, add the gold sanding sugar and dip the glass into it until the rim is covered.
- Add a cherry (can also add a little of the cherry juice as well) and the Triple Sec.
- Sprinkle in some of the edible sparkle dust.
- Fill the rest of the flute with the champagne/sparkling wine.
- Top with more edible dust to your liking and enjoy.
Notes
- To enhance the golden color, you can add some of the sanding sugar to the bottom of the glass as well. But after you pour the champagne the fizz will make some of it fall into the bottom of the glass anyways.
- Alternative to honey, you can rim the glass with a bit of the juice from the cherries.
