Ingredients

Scale

Lime wedge

Sugar for rim

Ice

1 1/2-2 oz. tequila (depending how strong you like it)

1 oz. Triple Sec

3 oz Pomegranate juice

Splash of orange juice

Pomegranate arils

Lime or orange slice for garnish

Instructions

  1. Use the lime wedge to rim the glass with a bit of the lime juice.
  2. Dip the glass in a dish of sugar to rim the glass.
  3. In a cocktail shaker**, add some ice and squeeze the lime and drop it in as well.
  4. Then add in the tequila, Triple sec, pomegranate juice, and orange juice.
  5. Shake until well combined.
  6. Fill the rimmed glass with fresh ice and strain margarita mixture into glass.
  7. Top with pomegranate arils and garnish with a slice of lime or orange and enjoy.
