  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 75 small gummies 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1/3 cup choice of fruit juice from concentrate (orange, apple, grape)

2 tablespoons raw honey

2 teaspoons granulated sugar or sweetener

1 tablespoon organic gelatin powder

1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Prepare silicone molds by placing them on a large baking sheet. This will allow you to transfer them into the refrigerator when its time to set.
  2. Pour fruit juice into a small pot and turn heat to medium-high, pour in honey and granulated sugar whisking continuously until the mixture starts to boil. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  3. Mix gelatin with water and sit for 2 minutes to allow the gelatin to bloom. Then add to the warm fruit juice and whisk until gelatin is dissolved.
  4. Using a dropper or a small spoon, fill the molds to the top, working somewhat quickly before the mixture begins to set.
  5. Once molds are filled, place tray in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  6. After chilling, pop the gummies out of the molds and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store gummies in an airtight container or Ziploc bag for up to 1 week.
  • Juices such as, pineapple, kiwi, mango, papaya, fig and guava contain an enzyme called a protease that will not allow the gelatin to solidify, so they will not work as well with this recipe.
