1 (8 oz) can crescent roll dough (8 pieces)
8 slices deli Black Forest ham
8 slices Swiss cheese
3 tablespoons salted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 177°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 individual triangles.
- Place one slice of ham on each dough triangle, then top with a folded slice of Swiss cheese.
- Roll each one tightly from the wide end to the tip, enclosing the filling.
- Place rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl. Stir in the garlic powder.
- After 10 minutes, remove the rolls from the oven and brush each one with the garlic butter. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Try different cheese like provolone or cheddar for a twist!
