  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 8

Ingredients

Scale

1 (8 oz) can crescent roll dough (8 pieces)

8 slices deli Black Forest ham

8 slices Swiss cheese

3 tablespoons salted butter

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon black sesame seeds

Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 177°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 individual triangles.
  3. Place one slice of ham on each dough triangle, then top with a folded slice of Swiss cheese.
  4. Roll each one tightly from the wide end to the tip, enclosing the filling.
  5. Place rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl. Stir in the garlic powder.
  7. After 10 minutes, remove the rolls from the oven and brush each one with the garlic butter. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
