Grinch Jello is a merry, jiggly treat that’s just as playful and colorful as the Grinch himself! Easy to make and totally kid-approved, this fun holiday dessert adds a splash of green cheer (and a little mischief) to your Christmas table.

  • Total Time: 3 hours and 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4-8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

3 oz green lime gelatin

3 oz red cherry gelatin

4 cups water

8 oz whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. Add green gelatin, stir for 3 minutes until dissolved, then stir in 1 cup of cold water. Pour into the 1 qt glass baking dish. Refrigerate for 3 hours, until firm.
  2. Boil 1 cup of water in a small sauce pan and stir in red gelatin until dissolved. Stir in 1 cup cold water. Pour into a 9×13 inch baking dish. Refrigerate for 3 hours, until firm.
  3. Add the whipped topping to a piping bag equipped with the round tip and pipe small dots onto the green gelatin. Refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the whipped topping to firm up a bit.
  4. Use the heart cutter to cut hearts out of the red gelatin, and arrange on the top of the whipped topping.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
