This Gingerbread Latte combines bold espresso with creamy milk and a generous splash of gingerbread syrup for a warm, spiced flavor. Finished with a sprinkle of ground nutmeg on top, it’s a cozy and festive drink that’s perfect for the season.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 2

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups milk (or any milk alternative)

2 shots of espresso (or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee)

3 tablespoons gingerbread syrup (adjust to taste)

Ground nutmeg (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Espresso/Coffee: Brew 2 shots of espresso or 1/2 cup of strong coffee and set aside.
  2. Heat the Milk: In a small saucepan, heat 2 cups of milk over medium heat, whisking occasionally, until steaming. You can also froth the milk if desired.
  3. Add Gingerbread Syrup: Stir in 3 tablespoons of store-bought gingerbread syrup into the milk. Adjust the sweetness to your liking.
  4. Combine: Pour the brewed espresso or coffee into two mugs. Divide the warm, gingerbread-flavored milk between the two mugs, pouring it over the espresso.
  5. Garnish with Nutmeg: Lightly sprinkle ground nutmeg on top.
