Explosive Patriotic Firework Pop Rock Treats Perfect For 4 July Celebrations

Equipment You Will Need
- Piping bags
- Microwave-safe bowls
- Small knife
- Spatula
- Tall glass
- Parchment paper
- Lollipop sticks

Firework Pop Rock Chocolate Covered Marshmallows
- Total Time: 57 minutes
- Yield: 8 sticks 1x
Ingredients
Instructions
- Start by laying out a sheet of parchment paper.
- Put the red or blue melting chocolate in a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate in 15-30 second increments until the chocolate is completely liquid.
- Put the chocolate in a piping bag. Cut a small hole in the piping bag and pipe 2 inch triangles on the sheet of parchment paper. Place some sprinkles on some of the chocolate triangles for extra decoration.
- Melt the next color of chocolate and repeat the steps above. Lastly do the same with 1 ounce of the white chocolate.
- Let the chocolate pieces sit out to dry.
- Put 3 marshmallows on each lollipop stick.
- Use a small knife to cut a small hole in at the top of the marshmallows.
- Melt the rest of the white chocolate melts in 15-30 second increments until its liquid.
- Pour the melted chocolate in a tall cup.
- Dip the marshmallows into the cup. Wipe of the excess chocolate on the cup and place it on a new sheet of parchment.
- Next get 3 Chocolate pieces, one in each color and stick it in the top of the marshmallow. You can add more if you like.
- Place the marshmallow sticks on a sheet of parchment to dry.
- Repeat this for each marshmallow stick and then put them in the freezer for 10 minutes to dry.
- Next remelt the red and blue chocolate in the piping bags.
- Use the chocolates to pipe zigzags on the marshmallow sticks.
- While the chocolate zigzags are still wet, sprinkle the sprinkles and pop rocks (or sanding sugar) randomly on them.
- When the chocolate is dry, brush the marshmallow fire works with edible glitter.
- Serve and Enjoy!
Notes
- These Fire work Marshmallows are best eaten fresh, but they can be stored in airtight container in a cool dry place for 2-3 days.
- Make extra chocolate triangles in each color, to have back up in case any of them break.
