A wonderful warming winter sip, perfect for cold nights with a sweet finish, best served in an Irish coffee cup.

Ingredients

Scale

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

A dash of ground cinnamon

A dash of ground nutmeg

A dash of ground allspice

A dash of vanilla extract

4 tablespoons dark rum

2/3 cups hot water

1 cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the sugar, butter and spices into your cup or mug and muddle
  2. Pour the rum over and top up with hot water
  3. Stir and serve with a cinnamon stick (optional)
