These Bacon Wrapped Smokies are the perfect bite-sized appetizer, featuring smoky sausages wrapped in crispy, caramelized bacon. Easy to prepare and always a crowd favorite, they’re a must-have for parties, holidays, or game day snacks!

12 oz package Lil Smokies (I used beef)

8-9 slices of bacon

1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut the bacon into thirds
  2. Preheat the oven to 35 degrees.
  3. Set a slice flat on a plate, then set a Lil Smokie on one end and roll it in the bacon slice.
  4. Secure with a toothpick.
  5. Arrange on a parchment or foil lined baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle brown sugar over the bacon wrapped smokies.
  7. Transfer the baking sheet to the oven, and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bacon is getting crispy.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • My package had 25 Lil Smokies in it. Yours may have a few less or more, depending on the size as the package size goes by weight.
  • Oven temps and cooking times can vary. Start the oven timer for 20 minutes, then check and cook for additional time if needed.
